Study Abroad Experience:

During my Study Abroad experience they had a lot of fundamentally similar things, but in attitude, it differs a lot from the American culture.  They have a typically more relaxed approach to a lot of facets of life as well as an emphasis on family and family time.  When I went through my day-to-day it was initially difficult for me to adjust to the environment, being a very distinct minority as well as a woman was very distinct within my experience in comparison to my peers.  When would go out people would stare or yell after me or try to go out their way to talk to me which initially I found overwhelming, but it became a way that I had to grow in maturity and comprehensively.  I found that typically the climate was very similar to home, but when traveling it was one of the most diverse experiences I ever had.  I could go from a very dry aired environment in Jujuy to the cold brisk environment of Ushuaia and meet such a diverse group of individuals.  As a student it was very different environment from Clemson the professors were more personal with every student and was more interested in if I understood the content than grades.  It was a smaller space where the students all knew each other.  The students that went there always had mate in hand and peacefully studied in a relaxed environment.  During my time there the conversations were mostly of how the economy was doing, football games, how my family was doing at home.  At home my host family was very supportive of me and wanted to know more about who I was, they were very sweet and invited me out to asado and gatherings.
