About Me

I’m a Language and international health major and currently I am taking steps to go on the pre-med track. I want to eventually go to med-school and possibly go into the field of anesthesiology. I feel like my decision in my major reflects the type of person I am and the type of role I want to take in the healthcare profession. I am very dependable and good at collaborative skills since I’ve taken part in activities where these skills are necessary such as an undergraduate CI project and complete the Certified Student Leadership Program. Also I have good listening and cooperation skills to help improve productivity. I'm also good at goal-setting, making plans, and motivating people to improve efficiency. I have also participated in various community service opportunities from helping with the Hispanic heritage festival to giving a presentation to health highschool aged individuals get information for the transition out of highschool. I feel that I have always valued people and the backgrounds in which they come from and I have always taken interest as well as enjoyed activities and opportunities that have to do with trying to understand people. I always felt that I keep an open mind to always learn more from people and how that affects my world view on things that I find myself ignorant in. I feel like it is important to take advantage of new adventures, express your individuality, search for knowledge, and to always operate with love.
